AntiStatics Architecture is an international creative Architecture and Design studio, founded by Mo Zheng and Martin Miller
based in Beijing and New York. We focus on innovative design utilizing cutting-edge digital tools and advanced fabrication to develop elegant solutions. The office is driven to provide innovative architectural solutions looking to advanced computational tools to find new material efficiencies and user integration. Our work includes master planning, architectural design, interiors, art installation, stage design, and cutting edge technological research.

both virtual and physical, placing ourselves at the threshold between the two. It is here that we find novel solutions to complex problems.

Ms. Zheng Mo has a dual background in China and the United States, and has lived and worked in New York and Philadelphia for 8 years. She is the founder of AntiStatics Architecture and the core of the studio. Her design philosophy combines internationally leading parametric design and digital construction methods with local Chinese culture and craftsmanship, integrating years of academic and technological innovation from the United States into planning, architecture, interior and installation design and construction. Ms. Zheng also taught at MSD-AAD Studio of Graduate School of Architecture, University of Pennsylvania from 2020 to 2021. The architectural and planning projects led by Zheng Mo include Smart City Design "The Infinite City" as a selected winner in the design of Indonesia's new capital city in 2019, and she went to Jakarta to present the design to President Joko Widodo with her team. The urban renewal and refurbishment project led by her called Beijing Fashion Factory was selected as"National Cultural Industry Innovation Experimental Zone boutique park" in 2019 and 2020. The MaoHaus was awarded the Best Architectural Facade at the 2018 German Iconic Awards. In 2023, as the only architectural work in China, it was selected by international architect Thomas Heatherwick as a representative case in his new book "Humanise". Ms. Zheng Mo was recently named as the Innovative Design Person of the Year in the first New Design List (2019). At the Hall of Fame Design Trends Ceremony hosted by Interior Design, China in 2022, Mo released the commercial design trends for 2022-2023.
郑默女士具有中、美两国双重背景,曾经在纽约与费城生活工作长达8年,她是非静止建筑的创始人及工作室的核心。她的设计理念是集合了国际领先的参数化设计和数字建造工作方式与中国本土文化及工艺的结合,将美国积累多年学术及科技创新理念结合到从规划、建筑到室内及装置的设计及建造中。同时她还任教于美国宾夕法尼亚大学建筑学院2020-2021年研究生MSD-AAD工作室。郑默主导的建筑及规划智慧城市设计“无限城市”于2019 年获得印度尼西亚新首都设计的冠军,并前往雅加达给总统佐科•维多多进行设计汇报。由她设计的北京时尚创意工厂又名“菁英梦谷·常营国际文创园” 分别在2019年和2020年被认定为“国家文化产业创新实验区精品园区”。 The MaoHaus 毛豪斯,获得2018年德国标志建筑大奖Iconic Awards最佳建筑立面,2023年作为中国唯一的建筑作品被国际建筑大师Thomas Heatherwick 选择作为代表案例在新书《Humanise》中引用。郑默女士近期被评为首届新设榜•年度创新设计人物(2019 年度)。2022年在《美国室内设计》中文版主办的名人堂设计趋势盛典上,郑默发布了2022-2023年的商业设计趋势。

Martin Miller is the creative design director and founding partner at AntiStatics Architecture. He is also a Professor in Practice at Cornell University Architecture Art Planning. Martin Miller comes from a diverse background with training in architecture, art, science and mathematics. He received his BFA in Sculpture from the University of Colorado with a minor in Mathematics, and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of expertise lie in parametric modeling, complex form rationalization and digital fabrication; especially in robotics and interactive design, Martin Miller has been teaching graduate studios as well as seminars focused on the implementation of computational design techniques including artificial intelligence, simulation, and robotic fabrication. Martin Miller was invited to teach a special course on large-scale 3D printed concrete toric and fine frame structures at the World Robot Architecture Conference (ROB | ARC 2018) at the ETH Zurich in 2018. Professor Miller's leading architectural and planning projects include: Smart City Design "Infinite City" winning the championship in the design of Indonesia's new capital in 2019. Digital construction projects include: installation project Woven Grove, a unique digital generated ecological weaving installation, which was exhibited at the opening ceremony of Design China Beijing in 2019; I Do Artist Store (Beijing Loris Store+Wuhan Yue Minjun Store 2018-2020), 2018 Winter Station (Champion) named"PussyHut“, and"Primitive Hut" environmental installation exhibited at New York State in 2017. Martin Miller was born in San Paul, Minnesota, USA and currently lives in New York.
